Armenia is a country that has many ways to experience it. That’s why we’ve created this blog post about the 10 most popular ways to experience Armenia! We hope you find something interesting and exciting in here, whether you’re looking for ways to get your adrenaline pumping or ways to take in the beauty of Armenia’s landscapes.

Paraglide Over Lake Sevan

The Paraglide Over Lake Sevan experience takes you over the beautiful scenery of Lake Sevan, Armenia’s largest lake. Whether you’re an experienced paraglider or not, this is a great way to see the amazing landscapes and get your adrenaline pumping!

Explore a Mysterious Monolith

Another one of the most awesome ways to experience armenia is to explore the many mysterious monoliths. This is a must-do activity for anyone interested in history or mysteries, and it’s not too hard on your feet either!

Get to know the hidden gems of your neighborhood

you can also socialize and get to know new people in your neighborhood by joining a Meetup group. Whether you are into books, cooking or coffee-making – there’s something for everyone!

We also recommend trying new activities and things to do with them, like going to a concert or museum.

Forge Iron in a Historic City

One of the greatest ways to experience Armenia is to get up close and personal with its history. Iron was forged in Armenia for thousands of years, so it’s no surprise that there are many ways to experience this tradition today!

Go on a metal forging workshop

You’ll get an overview of the process before you actually participate by making your own copper bracelet.

It’s definitely a new thing that you try out , and you’ll be surrounded by people with a passion for metal-smithing.

It’s on of the best ways to experience Armenia, as well!

Discover Armenia’s history

a great ways discover the history of Armenia is trip to Garni, the ruins of an ancient Roman Temple.

It was originally built in AD 64 by King Tiridates III and it once served as a temple for the god Mithras.

You can see some incredible views overlooking Mount Ararat while you’re up there-definitely worth checking out!

Try Armenia through food

Like with tkemali sauce–a delicious fruit preserve made from sour plums that has been used since Armenian times. It makes everything taste just right: vegetables, chicken or fish even meatballs!

Another great recipe that you should try out is a classic Armenian dish called khash. It’s made of lamb or beef mixed with rice, lentils and onions then cooked in an urn filled with hot water for hours until it becomes this really rich broth that is just so good on cold winter days!

If you’re feeling adventurous, try to cook some khaghoghi–a traditional soup from the Southern Caucasus region consisting of goat meat served over noodles-it’ll be a new experience for sure!

Explore Geological Formations in Mozrov Cave

Mozrov is located about 50 km outside of Yerevan, so it’s a bit of an adventure to get there. But the cave itself offers amazing geological features that you can only see in Armenia!

For example, stalactites and stalagmites are different ways for mineral deposits (mostly calcium carbonate) that you can explore, they are formed when water drips from the ceiling of a cave and then re-hardens.

The inside of Mozrov Cave is also really cool, with mosaics that date back to Roman times!

Mozrov’s best feature though (at least for me) is the underground river; it was so fun just exploring the caverns and enjoying the whole view that you would never normally get to see!

Join a Public Sing-a-long

Join a public sing-a-long! It’s not only an awesome way to learn Armenian folk songs, but also really fun.

Most of the time they will be in a cafe or restaurant where you can order some food and have a drink (beer) while singing along with all these locals that are just as excited as you are about their beautiful culture!

If you don’t want to go out then there is always YouTube: just search for “Armenian Folk Songs” and watch away; it’ll become your new favorite activity at home.

If you find that your visit to Armenia was enjoyable and want more ways to experience this country, the best way is by doing something fun with locals! One of my favorite ways to do so is by attending one of the traditional parties. Whether it be a wedding or birthday party, all-inclusive drinks are great for socializing.

With all of these ways to experience Armenia, it’s easy to see why this country is so popular with travelers. It may also be a great place for you or your family to retire. If you’re looking for an affordable and beautiful location that provides many different experiences, then look no further than the Republic of Armenia!
